Job Overview:

Here's your chance to step into the role of Event Operations Manager (Contractual role) at Global Village, part of Dubai Holding Entertainment. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:

• Acting as a project lead, managing all aspects of planning, execution, and delivery of events and activations.
• Creating project plans for the events and activations of Global Village Season 29 and working with the team to ensure best delivery of the projects.
• Managing allocation of manpower involved in events, such as concerts and on-site activations.
• Liaising between Global Village and external agencies for meeting timelines and ensuring smooth flow of events.
• Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) standards in accordance with Global Village’s policies.
• Attending meetings with external agencies for briefings and alignments.
• Reporting on events and activations before, during, and after occurrence.
• Proactively recommending new and innovative events and activations.
• Supervising external commercial activations.
• Preparing the events calendar for GV Seasons and executing the plan.
• Delivering all season events and ensuring site visits with suppliers before awarding the RFP.
• Communicating with awarded suppliers to discuss designs and concepts.
• Managing the production of all structures and supervising the internal team during build-ups.
• Working closely with Finance Department to ensure all payments are processed.
• Managing the operations of concerts and supporting in setting up the budget for events.

About you:

The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:

• Graduate in Events Management/Marketing Business Management or related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant and demonstrated experience in events, concerts, and on-ground activations.
• In-depth knowledge of events and concerts and good network with event production companies.
• Strong experience in Events Technical Setup and stage management.
