MCG Talent is currently looking for an Arabic Events Manager to work with one of our clients within the events industry. This strategic role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in event management, client relations, and departmental restructuring. The ideal candidate will possess a strong creative flair and a deep understanding of client needs, ensuring the successful execution of memorable events that drive business results.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: - Develop and implement the overall strategy for the Event Department, aligning with the company's vision and goals. - Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement within the event space.
Financial Knowledge: - Assessing experience in cost & budget planning & executing, project profitability assistants, and analysis exposures and networking with suppliers and freelancers.
Departmental Restructuring: - Assess current departmental structure and processes, recommending and executing necessary changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. - Build and lead a high-performing team by recruiting, training, and mentoring staff.
Client Engagement: - Cultivate strong relationships with clients to understand their objectives, preferences, and expectations. - Oversee the creation of tailored event concepts and proposals that resonate with clients' visions.
Production Management: - Manage all aspects of event production, from conceptualization through execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. - Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and partners to secure resources and services required for successful event execution.
Creative Development: - Drive innovative event experiences by leveraging creative solutions and the latest industry trends. - Encourage a culture of creativity within the team, fostering brainstorming sessions and idea generation.
Performance Monitoring: - Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the success of events and the department's performance. - Analyze post-event feedback and data to continuously improve future event planning and execution.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. 10-15 years of experience in event management, with experience in a leadership role. Proven experience in strategic analysis and restructuring of an event department. Strong creative vision with a solid understanding of client needs and expectations. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building relationships. Proficiency in event management software and tools. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
