As an Event Manager you will plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of international events, ensuring they run smoothly, on time, and within budget.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Manage all event planning and execution for international events: at luxury brand and/or government event
  2. Select, negotiate and liaise with event venues, including but not limited to catering, audio visual, accommodation, time and space requirements
  3. Ensure that pre-event advertising is timeously placed in print and online channels, as well as collate and report on the success thereof.
  4. Handle all delegate registrations, lists, queries, communication, etc.
  5. Oversee VIP schedule and meeting plans
  6. Ensure all sponsor contract obligations are met pre- and during the event
  7. Meet budget requirements per event
  8. Manage all event branding and marketing activities worldwide
  9. Carry out all brand building requirements for the actual event (stage branding, registration branding, sponsor branding, etc.)
  10. Ensure all invitation emails are sent on schedule and that results for each are recorded and reported.
  11. Deliver all branded materials and collateral (digital and print) to partner organisations and regional offices, pre-event (programs, html invitations, etc.)
  12. Plan, manage and execute Global Citizenship Seminar – Middle East and Global Citizenship Seminar – Dubai
  13. Manage event branding, from inception to final inception product, for all events
  14. Project manage design output and global events presence

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in commerce, marketing, arts, communications and/or PR
  2. 5+ years of experience as an Event Manager including planning, coordinating, and executing complex events locally and abroad.
  3. Good communications skills in English; French and Arabic is desirable but not mandatory
  4. Experience negotiating with vendors, suppliers, and venues
  5. Mobility (ability to travel internationally)
  6. Possession of an EU, USA, Canadian or Swiss passport is an added value
  7. Excellent attention to detail in every aspect of work
  8. High sense of urgency
  9. Proactive and self-motivated
  10. Sense of professionality and business conduct
  11. Adaptable with quick-thinking
  12. A solutions driven mentality
  13. Ability to perform well under pressure
