Event Coordinator

We are working with a leading Events Agency in Abu Dhabi in search of an Events Coordinator.

Purpose of Role:

To support the project team in delivering successful events. This role involves managing the freelance staff database, investigating new business opportunities, and contributing to the agency's growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate and identify new business contacts to expand the agency's network.
• Develop and nurture new business interactions and opportunities.
• Maintain and grow professional relationships with clients and suppliers.
• Attend client and supplier meetings to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
• Prepare and submit proposals for potential events.
• Create project quotes based on client requirements.
• Raise purchase orders and track financial transactions for events.
• Assist in defining project plans and event delivery strategies.
• Support in managing project progress and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Source suppliers, negotiate terms and rates, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Contribute to the successful delivery of events and ensure client satisfaction.
• Assist in preparing and supporting post-event reports for analysis and feedback.
• Book travel, accommodation, and tickets for clients and suppliers related to events.
• Manage and update the freelance staff database, ensuring the right team for each project.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in event coordination or related fields is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software.
• Knowledge of event planning logistics and vendor management.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Salary approx AED 10 - 14,000 per month
