ETL Developer - Banking

We are currently looking for an ETL Developer for our UAE operations with the following skill set and terms & conditions.

Skills

1. IT / Computer Science graduation from a reputed organization.
2. Software development and support experience between 1-3 years with hands-on technical roles in reputed organizations.
3. Experience in requirement gathering and analysis, data analysis for users in IT projects, liaising with customers to understand business requirements, and working with different stakeholders for project execution.
4. Work with vendors for deliverables, tracking of customer issues, and periodical management reporting.
5. Candidate must have experience in ETL development, support, and maintenance using SSIS, Informatica, etc.
6. Candidate must have solid development & user support experience for solutions that use SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc.
7. Should be able to understand & write SQL queries & procedures as needed to support the business users and assigned projects.
8. Preferred to have fair knowledge (not a must) on Risk Management systems like IFRS9, Reporting systems, ALGO, Corporate Credit Origination system, Early Warning system, Moodys Credit Lens, Market risk calculation systems like Focus ALM, etc.

Should be able to join in a month's time.

Role Purpose:

Support project activities and post-go-live activities from the IT/Technical side by reporting to the technical lead/project manager.

Be part of the team for implementing & supporting Risk systems relating to regulatory and digitization initiatives of Group Risk Management business segments.

Responsible for planning, managing, tracking, executing, and implementing functional and technical requirements in the Risk domain.

Prepare the technical specification/functional specifications for assigned projects in discussion with vendors, Business Analysts, or Business users for implementation.

Participate in business workshops or business meetings with respective Team Leaders for detailed analysis and design of the expected systems with vendors or internally.

Provide technical guidance, information, and instruction to other IT staff requiring broader subject knowledge.

Responsible for the development of related software modules, components, integration modules, bespoke development for the projects as required.

Recommend multiple technical options/solutions with appropriate information for the team leader to choose a particular option.

Make technical recommendations on solutions and systems to improve processes. Responsible for the technical design of the applications assigned.
