ESTIMATOR & QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Job description Responsibilities

1. Prepare tender documents, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation
2. Study and gain knowledge in the required specifications in Civil, Architectural, Structural, and Infrastructure
3. Study the project contracts
4. Study and review drawings; calculate and prepare take of quantity for civil, Structural, Architectural, and finishing works for Buildings based from approved drawings and specifications
5. Measure and value the work done on site
6. Track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust the budget projections accordingly
7. Prepare estimates and variation works
8. Checking and verifying all invoices from the subcontractor
9. Study and check the Contracts for all subcontractors
10. Prepare and evaluate Payment Applications & Certificates
11. Prepare and maintain all records to all subcontractor's agreements and payments
12. Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts for subcontract works and update cash flow
13. Track the work done on site and monitor the manpower
14. Coordinate with the Subcontractors and the Suppliers
15. Track the input and output of materials used in construction site
16. Review and study drawings for materials required, prepare material list
17. Sending queries and clarifications, attend meetings, prepare sections and write Material Specifications for Concrete, Structural, & Architectural works
18. Analyze plans, bills of quantities, and other project documentation in order to estimate costs

Requirements

Education: Bachelor degree in QS or Civil engineering
Experience: 1-3 years' Experience in UAE

Tasks

1. Ability to read and understand drawings effectively
2. Ability to read and understand BOQs effectively
3. Ability to read and understand subcontractor agreements and identify the scope of work effectively
4. Conduct site visits and report problems to the management
5. Review all site material requests, deployments, subcontractor certificates, and other expenses
6. Prepare excel-based cost reports

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: AED4,000.00 – AED7,500.00 per month
