Estimator (Interior Fit-out) (Retail) (Civil Engineer)

We are looking to hire an Interior Fit-out Estimator with good UAE experience.

Experience: 7 to 8 years' experience in managing large scale Retail/F&B projects in UAE is a must.

The main objective of the candidate will be to prepare the BOQ from the drawings. The candidate should also coordinate with the project team to control the cost and take the project forward within the planned budget.

Job Responsibilities

1. Estimating and cost planning for pre-tender stage.
2. Preparing Bill of Quantities for all projects.
3. Assisting with the production feasibility studies and estimates from minimal design information, through to detailed cost plans.
4. Interfacing with the client and consultant.
5. All major strategic procurement from identification of approved materials, verifying quantities as per the plan v/s actual.
6. Working closely with suppliers and clients to improve operations and reduce probable costs during project execution.
7. Coordination with project manager and site engineer.
8. Coordinating with procurement, advising on supply constraints, forecast information or products, recommending alternative products, pushing through scheduling of orders, and reporting on order status.
9. Monitors and prepares cost variations.
