Estimator - Commercial Construction

Projects are located in Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach.

Your new role

The Estimator is responsible for leading the preparation of complete and accurate estimates for each phase of the project’s design. This role involves collaboration with clients, architects/engineers, and subcontractors to plan cost factors for building projects. Responsibilities include:

1. Analysing construction documents, specifications, and proposals
2. Preparing time, cost, and labor estimates

Negotiation and Client Meetings

Presentations are also a key aspect of this role.

What you'll need to succeed

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar/related field of study/related experience
2. Experience estimating projects or relevant construction experience
3. Between 5 to 15 years of experience working as an Estimator/SR Estimator/Preconstruction Manager
4. +5 years of experience in commercial construction (ground up and renovations)
5. Take Off/Estimating Software experience (OST, Bluebeam, others)
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
7. Multitask capability, ability to work under pressure, and team management skills are a must
8. Strong negotiation skills
