Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop precise cost estimates for ambulance and medical vehicle projects, considering materials, labor, and overhead costs.
2. Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure specifications meet regulatory standards and client expectations.
3. Conduct market research to identify pricing trends and competitor offerings for competitive bid submissions.
4. Prepare detailed reports and presentations, clearly communicating estimation methodologies and assumptions to stakeholders.
5. Utilize advanced estimation software to improve accuracy and efficiency.
6. Participate in project meetings, providing insights on cost implications and risks associated with design changes.
7. Continuously refine estimation processes using best practices and lessons learned from past projects.
8. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable pricing and agreements.
9. Support project managers in budget tracking and cost management throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in cost estimation within the automotive or medical vehicle industry.
2. Certification in Estimating or Project Management (e.g., CCM, PMP) is preferred.
3. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
5. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
6. Proficiency in advanced estimation software tools.
