Estimation Engineer

Element has an opportunity for an Estimation Engineer to join our growing team.

This role will be responsible for preparing cost estimates for projects and services to aid the management in bidding/pricing/project management.

This role will be based in Dubai, UAE.

Core Responsibilities

• Review customer enquiries and project specifications and providing quotations
• Confer with personnel at various levels on changes and adjustments to cost estimates
• Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling
• Communicate with the customer regarding clarifications of the quotation, pricing
• Establish and maintain tendering process, and conduct negotiations
• Support team in business processes by taking up adhoc / additional projects & assignments as required

Skills / Qualifications

• A degree / diploma holder in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• At least 1 year experience in costing / estimation in Gulf region, preferably in construction or related field
• Computer literate, with experience of Microsoft Office
• Self-starter, quick learner and energetic
• Able to understand and recognize processes and operate effectively within the processes
• Excellent written and spoken English skills
• An administrator with accounting / financial background would be preferred for the position
