Job type/Contract: Contractual. Start on as soon as possible

Starting date: ASAP

Duration: 24 months (Extendable)

Hours/rotation: Rotation of 60 days on site and 10 days off (paid) & 2 days traveling (paid).

Salary range: Excellent salary package with benefits.

Job summary/Role description

• Equipment Inspector (Lifting) supervises and monitors all subcontractor rigging / lifting activities.
• Ensuring that plant construction works are performed according to HSE procedures, construction schedules and project specifications, within the assigned cost budget, and according to quality & safety procedures, as well as according to the terms and conditions of the subcontract.

Duties and responsibilities

• Equipment Inspector (Lifting) has direct responsibility on management of heavy lifts subcontractor.
• He/she will ensure that their performances are carefully monitored in terms of schedule, quality and cost, and he will coordinate all necessary recovery actions whenever detect deviation from schedule or specifications under the guidance of construction manager.
• He/she ensures the implementation of all the HSE procedures and standards for the areas or activities (subcontractors) of responsibilities.
• He/she directly participates to the HSE activities at site as defined for his position in the site HSE plan and related procedures.

Person Specification

Knowledge & Qualifications

• University Degree or Diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent.
• Heavy lifting certificate is mandatory.

Experience

• Minimum of 10 years work experience.
• Significant experience in a similar position on EPC Oil & Gas projects / Refinery.
