Environmental Officer

Supports Project Management in achieving Environmental goals and KPIs as set for the project.
Provides expertise to staff on more than one project regarding environmental aspects and impacts.
Monitors and ensures subcontractors' implementation of HSEMS.
Implements and monitors performance of Environment Management System requirements.
Conducts Environment Aspect / Impact assessment for activities.
Organizes Environmental awareness and training sessions.
Reports to Environmental Superintendent on all project Environmental issues.
Supports Environmental Engineer and Project Manager in adherence to Environment Management Plans.
Investigates incidents and accidents, and reports findings back to Environmental Superintendent.
Assists with internal management system audits to monitor compliance with the company EMS.
Reports performance details of implemented HSEMS to top management at periodic intervals during Management Review meetings.

Required Qualifications:
Diploma in a related field or equivalent.
Holder of NEBOSH / IOSH Diploma or an equivalent internationally recognized HSE certification is preferable.
Minimum 03 years of related work experience in similar industries.
Flexible in terms of work location (onshore or offshore).
