Develop and oversee the management of all operational, HSE audits, and training activities
Review and endorse all HSE inputs on tender documents for all projects
Establish and implement short and long-term HSE goals and objectives for Operational, HSE training, and audits
Coordinate with the departments to set Company’s HSE targets and objectives
Review and update HSEMS / EMS manuals to ensure compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and local & international HSE legislations
Prepare a budget for HSE Operations and HSE training & audit and monitor the expenditures to remain within the allocated budget
Ensure that Corporate HSEMS / ISM / EMS (ISO 14001) and ISO 45001 audits are conducted
Ensure regular audits and inspections of subcontractor’s personnel, sites, and activities
Lead the conduction of Behavioral Safety Audits (BSA) and high-profile tours as per HSEMS guidelines
Minimum Requirement:
Minimum 12 years of related work experience in similar industries
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental Science or equivalent
Diploma in Safety Management (DipSM) and/or NEBOSH/IOSH diploma or equivalent
NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA / OSHAD or equivalent
Certification in HSE audit is preferable
Desired Candidate Profile
Environmental Regulations and Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of environmental laws, policies, and regulations at local, state, and federal levels (e.g., EPA standards in the U.S., or EU regulations).
Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA): Ability to evaluate the environmental impact of projects and propose strategies to mitigate negative effects.
Sustainability Practices: Knowledge of sustainability initiatives, renewable energy, waste management, and resource conservation strategies.
Risk Management: The ability to assess environmental risks and create plans to address them effectively.
Data Analysis: Skills in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting environmental data (e.g., air quality, water quality, noise levels, etc.) and preparing reports.
Project Management: Ability to manage environmental projects, ensuring that environmental considerations are integrated into planning, design, and execution.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting to stakeholders, educating staff, and raising awareness about environmental policies.
