Environmental Engineer

Hiring: Male Environment Engineer (RTA Project in Dubai, UAE)

The candidate shall be a postgraduate or above with specialization in Environmental Engineering/Environmental Science. The candidate shall have relevant professional experience of at least 5 years.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Project HSE Manager in implementation of Environmental aspects and requirements.
2. Regular review and updating of the CECP.
3. Prepare and update the monthly Environmental & Sustainability report and quarterly waste monitoring report.
4. Assist the project team regarding the fulfilment of requirements in accordance with the EIAR & Conditions specified in the EC.
5. Assist the Project team in preparing and submission of quarterly environmental report to Dubai Municipality.
6. Assist the HSE Manager in conducting the environmental monitoring through EIAC approved 3rd party agencies.
7. Obtain, update, and maintain plans, permits, and standard operating procedures.
8. Provide technical support for environmental remediation projects and for legal actions.
9. Coordination with external agencies in addressing any complaints related with Environmental issues.
10. Monitor the progress of environmental improvement programs.
11. The Environment Engineer will establish the Environmental training programme schedule, and will be responsible for:
1. The development of training materials or the oversight of the preparation of such material by a competent person in order to effectively conduct environmental training.
2. Development of an environmental training programme;
3. The preparation and updating of the schedule for environmental training.
4. Carrying out environmental training for site personnel in accordance with this procedure and the collation and retention of training records.

The candidate must be based in the UAE and have at least five years of experience within the country (UAE).
