Job Description
Entertainment Coordinator
Entertainment coordinators plan events for the company or venue, arranging the associated entertainment. They plan all aspects of the entertainment, such as purchasing necessary equipment and arranging transportation.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Entertainment coordinators work primarily at entertainment venues.
  • The coordinator provides support to upper management in addition to managing daily operations of the venue and employee administration.
  • Anyone seeking to be an entertainment coordinator must be organized and able to work consistently at a very fast pace.
  • Entertainment coordinators are charged with making sure that employees keep any event running smoothly and that guests enjoy their time at the venue.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years experience as an event coordinator.
  • Well-organized with excellent multi-tasking abilities.
  • Outstanding vendor management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or public relations is preferred.
