Enterprise Risk Manager

Join Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) s Strategy & Corporate Governance Sector in the Safety & Risk Regulation and Planning Department to lead Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), ensuring the identification, management, and mitigation of risks across RTA. This role is integral to aligning risk management with RTA's strategic goals and improving business value by minimizing risks and maximizing opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and implement the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework across RTA.
• Facilitate and oversee risk assessments, workshops, and strategic risk scenario planning.
• Align ERM practices with ISO standards (ISO 31000, ISO 55001, OHSAS 18001).
• Provide independent assessments and advice on key risks and mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and improve the Active Risk Manager System.
• Collaborate with government entities such as Dubai Municipality, Etihad Rail, and Dubai Police on risk-related matters.
• Develop RTA's Risk Registers and ensure periodic audits and updates.
• Consolidate annual risk assessments and report findings to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with international risk management standards and regulations.

Technical Requirements:

• Expertise in Risk Management Development, Risk Audit and Evaluation, and ERM governance.
• Familiarity with international risk standards and frameworks, including ISO certifications.
• Strong knowledge of operational, financial, economic, strategic, safety, and security risks.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Science from a recognized university.
• 7+ years of experience in risk management within a large transportation or public body.
• Professional credentials in Risk Management (preferred).
