Enterprise Architect

Responsibilities

1. Determining the technology system architecture and functional design needed to support and meet company business goals
2. Setting the context, defining common elements and creating patterns and standards to apply the details at a project level
3. Supporting the senior management and stakeholders in evaluating the business’ mission and ensuring that the company uses its IT assets effectively
4. Documenting the process using multiple architectural models
5. Generating graphic representations and abstracts of the system architecture models
6. Evaluating existing IT systems for exposure or weaknesses that could compromise performance, security, or efficiency
7. First-hand experience developing and building models based on The Enterprise Framework
8. Implementing shared infrastructure to optimize information management systems
9. Analyzing the domains of the enterprise’s structure to improve operations and align the business and technology to be transparent
10. Ability to analyze data and information generated by the enterprise and operational labor structure to identify cost-savings opportunities
11. Efficiency in time management, project management and demonstrative of the company’s service-oriented architecture (SOA)
12. Ensuring adherence to development, PMO, and IT service management standards
13. Managing approval of application build/upgrade designs to ensure that they are in line with all the necessary standards and policies
14. Ensuring the optimal balance between the development of new systems and leveraging existing systems
15. Leading on technical support and onsite support to ensure all issues related to all enterprise solutions are addressed appropriately
16. Expert in cloud computing
