Job Description

The Enterprise Architect will lead the development and execution of the organization’s IT architecture strategy, covering business, data, application, and technology domains. This includes leveraging frameworks like TOGAF, ensuring compliance with security standards, and enabling data-driven decision-making. The role also involves assessing emerging technologies, providing leadership for IT initiatives, and optimizing IT investments.

Job Responsibilities

1. Develop Enterprise Architecture Strategies: Create and implement enterprise-wide architecture plans that align with the organization’s business goals.
2. Architectural Frameworks and Tools: Utilize frameworks like TOGAF and tools such as OrbusInfinity or SAP Lean for structured architecture development.
3. Cloud and Integration Solutions: Design cloud-based and hybrid architectures leveraging platforms like AWS, Azure, and Oracle, and implement integration patterns like SOA and APIs.
4. Governance and Compliance: Ensure adherence to governance frameworks and industry standards, including security practices such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
5. Data Management: Design and maintain effective data architectures, ensuring data governance and integrity across the enterprise.
6. Business Process Optimization: Model and optimize workflows using tools like BPMN to enhance operational efficiency.
7. Leadership and Collaboration: Lead cross-functional teams, collaborate with business and IT leaders, and manage relationships with external partners.
8. Risk Management: Identify architectural risks, propose mitigation strategies, and ensure the resilience of IT systems.
9. Technology Assessment: Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend their adoption to drive innovation and operational excellence.
10. Documentation and Communication: Create architecture documentation, reports, and presentations to articulate the IT vision to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Essential Skills

1. Proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF.
2. Expertise in enterprise architecture tools such as OrbusInfinity or SAP Lean.
3. Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Oracle) and integration technologies (APIs, SOA).
4. Strong understanding of data governance, data modeling, and security practices (ISO 27001, NIST).
5. Familiarity with SDLC methodologies like Agile, DevOps, and Waterfall.
6. Ability to model and optimize business processes using BPMN or similar tools.
7. Exceptional strategic thinking, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

Desirable Skills

1. Certifications such as TOGAF 9, CISSP, or ArchiMate Certification.
2. Experience in higher education systems and processes.
3. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED40,000.00 per month
