ENT SURGEON

Job Description / Role

We are looking for an ENT (Otolaryngologist) to be responsible for treating conditions of the Ear, Nose, and Throat.

The Responsibilities Include

• Treating conditions and examining affected organs and performing tests to determine the degree of hearing loss, speech loss, or injuries to the larynx.
• Treating conditions of the ears, upper pharynx, oral cavity, larynx, nose, face, and neck.
• Treating nosebleeds, tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies, infected mastoids, and Sinusitis.
• Conducting assessment & re-assessment for all patients in the OPD, on admission, and prior to any procedure.
• Completing medical records promptly indicating diagnosis, treatment, and future courses of action. Records must conform to established requirements.
• Collaborating with other departmental personnel in planning programs integrating the curative and preventive aspects of total patient care.
• Daily answering questions concerning irregular work and problems that arise in the group such as handling technical, safety and accident problems.
• Monitoring work of other assigned staff to the Otorhinolaryngology Service for quality, quantity, correctness etc., demonstrating procedures as required.
• Supporting Continuous Quality Improvement. Maintaining confidentiality regarding patient information and administrative matters of a confidential nature.
• Developing a thorough understanding of policies and procedures of the hospital and demonstrating respect for them.

Requirements

Skills

• A Medical Degree with a Minimum 3 years of experience
• Must have a medical license
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Perfect vision and visuospatial awareness
• Good organizational ability
