The English Teacher will be responsible for delivering a dynamic curriculum that integrates traditional literary studies with contemporary communication skills. Person specifications:

1. Hold a BEd or Bachelors degree with PGCE / PGDE or equivalent
2. A Master's degree or equivalent qualification is preferred
3. Have proven experience of teaching English to KS4/KS5 or equivalent
4. Have a willingness to collaborate and share their outstanding practice
5. Have a growth mindset, whereby they are reflective and solution-focused
6. Be creative and enthusiastic in their approach to teaching
7. Possess excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with colleagues, students and parents
8. Have a proven track record of providing outstanding learning & teaching
