On behalf of our client, SeekTeachers is looking for an experienced Science Teacher to travel to the UAE to deliver the UK Curriculum to local and international students. The school would be willing to review CVs that have the following credentials:

• Bachelors in English
• MUST be fully qualified with a PGCE, QTS, or teaching license in English
• Should have at least 1 year of teaching experience, but strong NQT’s will also be considered
• Understanding of the UK Curriculum and how it can differ in the students’ lives
• Ability to build strong rapport with students and parents
• Able to work as part of a team and individually
• You should ensure that lesson planning is relevant to the subject being taught

The school was established about 20 years ago by local businessmen hoping to show the people of the UAE that the UK Curriculum can hugely change the younger generation and how it can help them in the future. The school has great support from locals and now has reached its full capacity at just over 2000 students.

The senior management is all from the UK, so they have a great amount of knowledge on the UK Curriculum and ensure that all teachers are providing students with the best possible education. The majority of the students are from overseas and western trained, but there are locals working inside the school to help the slower learners achieve their best possible results.

Qualification: Minimum Qualification or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification. Experience: 1 Year. Type of Staff: Male or Female can apply for this job. Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa). Must be a native speaker of English. STRONG Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT's) can apply. A Newly Qualified Teachers program is not provided. Prefer candidates with international experience.
