English Teacher

Job Title: Teacher – English

Location: Al Ghad Charter School, Abu Dhabi

Academic Year: 2024-2025

School Requirements:

• Education Required: Bachelor
• Minimum Teaching Experience: 2 years
• Major: Bachelors in Secondary Education
• Required Certificates: Teaching Credential/License

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in the related subject with PGCE or other teacher qualification

Minimum Experience:

• 1-2 years teaching experience

• Experience working with students for whom English is not their first language
• Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child
• Professionalism and consideration for the well-being of children
• Involvement in extra-curricular activities
• Respect for all members of a school community
• Positive and solution-focused attitude
• Clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check

Responsibilities:

• Deliver lessons that inspire students to achieve their best outcomes
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan engaging lessons
• Develop positive relationships within the school community
• Organize classroom provisions and learning resources
• Motivate pupils with enthusiastic and imaginative teaching
• Assess and observe children in line with school assessments
• Meet with professionals such as therapists if required
• Ensure adherence to the school’s behavior policy
• Run a weekly ECA each term
