Engineering Manager

As an Engineering Manager, you present yourself as a strong leader to our technical team in Pakistan delivering A-class products, applying new industry trends and challenging your peers. While working with us, as an Engineering Manager, you will get the opportunity to design and deliver the most complex products and be a part of a platform that handles millions of requests per day.

In this role, you will:

1. Architect, design, and develop cloud software applications.
2. Collaborate closely with Product, Infrastructure, Design, UX, CLM, and Strategy to deliver highest quality products.
3. Enforce agile practices like test driven development, CI & test automation.
4. Collaborate with offshore teams for both architectural and delivery issues.
5. Cultivate technical backlog.
6. Smartly prioritize between the immediate and the future needs.
7. Analyze and remediate production issues, build in fault tolerance and operational readiness into the system architecture with a focus on operationally ready solutions.
8. Be a software guardian. Own non-functional requirements, architectural direction, quality of the code and addressing technical debt.
9. Knowledgeable of scalability and high availability systems.
10. Focus on Team health and instill a strong culture of engineering excellence.
11. Mentor team on good code design patterns.
12. Hiring A-players to build High Performing Teams, constantly raising the bar of engineering talent.
13. Identify areas for growth and personal development and provide a growth path uniquely catered towards each team member.
14. Ability to lead the team technically and act as a Project and Product manager.
15. Ensuring the highest standards of security for all our platforms and its underlying infrastructure.

Requirements

1. Experience in architecting, designing, and developing cloud software applications.

3. Proficiency in agile practices like test driven development, CI & test automation.
