What You'll Be Building

As the Engineering Lead, you'll be at the forefront of fintech innovation, responsible for building and scaling a platform that directly impacts business financial operations. You will:

1. Architect and develop scalable financial solutions: Lead the design and deployment of secure, high-availability systems handling real-time financial transactions.
2. Oversee the entire software development lifecycle: From ideation to deployment, ensure best engineering practices, code quality, and technical excellence.
3. Ensure seamless integration with financial networks: Work with Visa and Mastercard APIs, payment processors, and banking infrastructures to enable seamless transactions.
4. Champion security and compliance: Implement best-in-class security measures to protect financial data and ensure adherence to regulatory standards in the UAE and Middle East.
5. Enhance product performance and reliability: Optimize infrastructure, improve transaction speeds, and build robust disaster recovery mechanisms.
6. Lead and mentor a dynamic engineering team: Drive a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical growth within a skilled software development team using React.js, Next.js, React Native, Node.js, and Ruby on Rails.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with Product, Customer Success, and Business teams to align technology strategies with business goals.

Who We're Looking For

We're seeking an Engineering Lead who can drive fintech innovation with expertise in:

1. Fintech Leadership: 6+ years of experience in a senior technology leadership role, preferably in fintech or financial services.
2. Financial Systems and Regulations: Strong understanding of financial products, services, and regulatory requirements in the UAE and the Middle East.
3. Visa & Mastercard API Experience: Extensive hands-on experience integrating with Visa and Mastercard APIs for secure and scalable transactions.
4. B2B Product Development: Proven experience in building and scaling B2B fintech products.
5. Technology Mastery: Expertise in React.js, Next.js, React Native, Node.js, and Ruby on Rails. Familiarity with SQL/Postgres, AWS, and Google Cloud is a plus.
6. Security and Compliance: Strong understanding of security protocols, financial data protection, and regulatory compliance.
7. Agile and Team Leadership: Ability to mentor teams, drive Agile development, and ensure smooth execution of engineering projects.
