Engineering Director

Job Description

Position: Director of Engineering

Company: £20m plus Manufacturer of Construction Products

You will be responsible for running and maintaining multiple projects at a time, steering them through all stages of the product, process and building engineering, producing cutting edge products that can be manufactured right first time, every time at the required output rate and cost.

This role focuses on improving and developing the products they offer from:

1. Building standard
2. Manufacturing
3. Assembly perspective

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the Product and Process Engineering teams
2. Lead the development of existing and new products
3. Lead the engineering specification of new development buildings
4. Define the requirements with the customer, architecture and project delivery team
5. Manage a comprehensive project design library and the client brief
6. Optimise Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA)
