Engineering Coordinator
Job description
Your role will be included but not limited to:
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repair work for all hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of house spaces.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to prioritize and promptly complete maintenance tasks promptly.
- Maintain records of maintenance work, equipment manuals, warranties, and track equipment servicing schedules.
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors to procure materials, parts and services required for maintenance and repairs.
- Liaise and provide support to other departments within the hotel.
- Generate reports detailing maintenance and engineering activities for management review.
- Address guest concerns related to maintenance and delegate tasks to engineering colleagues as needed.
Requirements & Skills:
- Proven experience in hotel maintenance, engineering, or a related field.
- Familiar with safety regulations, codes, and standards in the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in computer software and maintenance management systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important task.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
