Engineering Attendant
Job description
Job Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain engineering equipment and areas according to set standards and procedures
- Replenish engineering supplies as needed
- Ensure prompt and courteous response to maintenance requests
- Report damage or malfunction in engineering equipment/areas to Supervisor
- Maintain equipment in a proper state of cleanliness and repair
- Attend daily briefings with supervisor and take on daily assigned tasks
- Handle complaints related to engineering equipment/areas reporting them to Supervisor immediately
- Report unusual behaviour/activities in engineering areas to Supervisor
- Comply with hotels health safety and hygiene policy
- Adhere to personnel grooming and hygiene standards
- Attend meetings and training sessions as required
- Fully understand the importance of different equipment levels and categories
- Must adhere to all Lost and Found procedures
- Proper followup of Engineering SOPs
- Must comply with all fire evacuation procedures and first aid training
- Must comply with grooming standards specific to engineering attendants
- Attend proper training sessions and maintain a professional conduct at work
Qualifications:
- Secondary education
- Good knowledge of engineering maintenance practices
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar capacity in a luxury hotel environment
