Job description

Provide 24/7 Support in network operations field of RAN (Radio Access Network) within Du and managing Mobile RAN & MW Team. Prepared to achieve and surpass objectives by leveraging expertise in Radio Access Network (RAN) monitoring and network management. Proficient in identifying, managing, analyzing, and isolating faults, as well as implementing configuration changes across systems.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Overall responsibility of Mobile RAN Network and Managing Mobile Team.
  2. Technical/Process leader for the Operation and Maintenance of the Mobile and Wireless Networks that includes:
  3. Excellent knowledge for Radio Access Network including NSN/Huawei/Ericsson 2G/3G/4G/5G, Technical support of Monitoring team members.
  4. Network / Service Surveillance and Alarm Handling. Reporting alarm/event must be within agreed SLA as per the ticket priority.
  5. Promptly escalate critical network issues to service partners, stakeholders, and management in alignment with the company's escalation matrix.
  6. Oversee and support both reactive and planned activities.
  7. Performing additional tasks assigned by management.
  8. Managing different Mobile Network Dashboard and Handling Event Management.
  9. Implement digitalization use case.
  10. Apply self healing TT handling.
  11. Identify alarm optimization.

Qualifications:

Minimum Bachelor degree in Telecommunication Engineering

Experience:

5 years of strong telecom knowledge and experience in the following technologies: Nokia, Huawei and Ericsson 2G/3G/4G/5G Technologies & Good knowledge of Cisco APs

Skills:

  1. Good knowledge in programming and automation.
  2. Good knowledge in agile methodology.
  3. Must be able to work effectively in a 24 x 7 x 365 environment;
  4. Ability to handle multiple tasks at once, to prioritize, and demonstrate excellent follow-through on each task assigned.
  5. Works well within a team and ability to build relationships cross-functionally.
  6. Knowledge of network implementation / integration processes.
  7. Monitoring all day-to-day activities within Service Operations Centre.
  8. Good Liaison between Cognitive Operation and other departments like Customer Services, L2/L3 Support.
  9. Ensure the operations and network KPIs are met with the highest quality and standards.
  10. Ability to work under pressure and to be able to handle network crises and emergencies.
  11. Providing technical support to field teams in troubleshooting of RAN Node (BTS/BSC/RNC/4G/5G).
  12. Management Notification & Escalation as per the company escalation matrix.
  13. 1st level troubleshooting including Trouble Ticket Management.
  14. Handling customer complaints regarding mobile coverage and quality. Review and audit of existing solution, design and system architecture.
  15. Generate, Update and Provide reports relevant to Network Operations and Maintenance.
  16. Ensure the operations and network KPIs are met with the highest quality and standards.
