Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for marine projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with naval architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize the design and performance of marine vessels and structures.
Oversee construction and installation activities for marine projects, including shipbuilding, rig construction, and offshore installation operations.
Conduct inspections and surveys of marine vessels and offshore facilities to assess condition, identify defects, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
Professional engineering licensure preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in marine engineering roles, with a focus on ship design, offshore engineering, or marine construction.
Strong technical knowledge of marine systems and structures, including ship propulsion, marine propulsion, marine systems, and offshore platforms.
Proficiency in engineering design software and tools, such as AutoCAD, ShipConstructor, Orca3D, and finite element analysis (FEA) software.
