We are currently recruiting for an Engineer – Facilities Management Hard Services to join our Facility Management team in Dubai.
Scope: To assist and support the facilities manager and clients in managing day-to-day operational management for all FM services, ensuring that the facility is fully maintained, functional, and safe for building users. This includes overseeing maintenance activities, coordination with vendors and contractors, housekeeping and soft services, ensuring compliance with relevant safety guidelines, and implementing facility projects.
Financial Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing a monthly report with operational data to support the review of the operational performance of the contract.
- Ensure FM services are delivered as per sold solution manpower resources only.
- Identify and record continuous improvement initiatives - process improvement or cost savings.
- Manage the project service delivery performance and ensure the SLA/KPIs are complied with.
- Add value to the client’s business by presenting initiatives that drive down costs or complement their objectives.
- Deliver FM services in line with agreed contractual SLA/KPIs to avoid penalties and deductions.
Customer Responsibilities
- Work with team Supervisors/team leaders to devise and conduct induction and continuation training for new staff, ensuring all training is recorded.
- Ensure that all service level agreements within the contract scope are maintained and monitored monthly.
- Procure materials/services/projects in close coordination with the procurement team, strictly following procurement policies.
- Manage Specialist Services contractors/vendors within TG scope or as managing agent.
- Report all contract staff sickness, absence, and holidays, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Liaise with clients regularly to ensure the highest standards are achieved and maintained.
- Develop excellent working relationships with clients and hold regular meetings to ensure smooth contract operations.
- Undertake site visits to assess staff performance and resolve any client issues regarding service quality.
Process Responsibilities
- Manage Contract Service Delivery per best industry practices and compliance with local statutory guidelines.
- Order project equipment and machinery.
- Conduct contract staff induction and continuous training on best industry practices and established SOPs.
- Arrange and control local order purchases.
- Carry out monthly reviews of the account with the Line Manager.
- Monitor resource utilization to ensure adequate talent is available for service delivery.
- Prepare for monthly staff meetings and daily/weekly briefings of site teams.
- Ensure timely raising of invoices in coordination with central Admin and Finance Teams.
Innovation Responsibilities
- Execute energy management projects by identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Integrate the latest technology as per current market trends, developing case studies and business proposals with ROI models.
