As an Energy & Environment Engineer, you will be at the forefront of promoting sustainable energy practices and enhancing environmental performance. Your responsibilities will span from conducting detailed energy audits to advising clients on implementing Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) for long-term sustainability. You will play a crucial role in analysing energy consumption, compiling comprehensive audit reports, and contributing to green building certification processes.
Responsibilities:
Conduct Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 energy audits, gathering data on consumption patterns and documenting building details.
Perform energy analysis, validate measurements, and identify potential ECMs. Establish baseline energy consumption and select parameters for Measurement & Verification (M&V) activities.
Compile detailed audit reports, including findings, proposed ECMs, cost-benefit analyses, and implementation plans.
Provide expert advice to clients on sustainable energy practices, assessing current consumption, recommending technologies, and formulating strategies for environmental impact reduction.
Contribute to green building certification processes, ensuring compliance with energy efficiency and sustainability standards such as LEED and ASHRAE guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelors degree in engineering, environmental science, or related field
CEM Certification is mandatory
Other certification in energy auditing or sustainable energy practices (preferred)
Proven experience in energy audits and implementing energy-saving measures
Strong understanding of Measurement & Verification (M&V) processes
Familiarity with green building certification standards (LEED, ASHRAE)
Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills
