An Energy Sales Advisor in the Energy & Utilities industry is responsible for promoting and selling energy products and services to customers. They engage with clients, assess their energy needs, provide tailored solutions, and negotiate contracts to meet sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Engagement: Interact with potential customers to understand their energy requirements, assess their current energy usage patterns, and identify opportunities for energy optimization.
  2. Product Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of energy products and services offered by the company. Stay updated with industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes.
  3. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to acquire new customers and expand the company's market share. Identify target customer segments, create sales pitches, and customize product offerings to meet customer needs.
  4. Consultative Selling: Provide professional advice and guidance to customers regarding energy solutions, energy efficiency measures, and cost-saving opportunities. Offer recommendations and proposals tailored to their specific requirements.
  5. Proposal Preparation: Prepare and present detailed proposals outlining the benefits, features, and cost estimates of energy products or services. Clearly communicate the value proposition to customers and address any queries or concerns they may have.
  6. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions, pricing, and contractual agreements with customers. Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  7. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster long-term partnerships. Provide ongoing support and assistance, address customer inquiries, and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
  8. Sales Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, such as revenue targets, sales volumes, and conversion rates. Identify areas for improvement and take proactive measures to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  9. Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential customers, industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities. Gather insights and share market intelligence with the sales team and management.
  10. Collaboration and Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams, such as marketing, technical, and customer support, to ensure smooth sales processes, efficient project implementation, and customer satisfaction.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. Previous experience in sales, preferably in the energy or utilities sector. Knowledge of energy products, renewable energy sources, energy efficiency measures, and sustainability concepts. Familiarity with the energy market dynamics and regulatory landscape in the UAE. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities. Customer-oriented mindset and ability to build rapport with clients. Result-driven and target-oriented approach. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in sales and CRM software. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Adaptability to changing market conditions and customer requirements. Fluency in English (written and spoken). Knowledge of Arabic (beneficial but not mandatory).
