Are you a passionate professional seeking a challenging career in Facilities Management? Emrill is looking for a qualified and experienced professional to fill the vacancy of Energy Engineer. This position holds technical responsibility for a portfolio of Energy Performance Contracts. Managing Energy Solutions on properties. This will include engineering analysis, data analysis, engineering/energy solutions, and producing reports to operations on performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive implementation of best practices across contracts by establishing performance metrics that promote consistency in energy savings and engineering excellence.
- Continuous monitoring of energy usage on projects and taking proactive measures to manage usage meeting contractual obligations.
- Provide the necessary data for financial and performance reporting within the given timeframe.
- Review engineering documentation on bids, considering the local standards, Emrill specifications, and specific site conditions.
- Support operations to resolve energy conservation issues on contracts, being proactive to identify and resolve issues to mitigate risks to contractual performance.
- Advise on manpower and material requirements on Energy Performance Contracts.
- Work with senior management to support Emrill's overall growth strategy.
- Manage excellent relationships with clients, suppliers, and other partners during negotiations and contract lifecycle.
- Maintain regular contact with clients' Engineering Team to communicate strategy, performance, or improvements.
- Ensure all site managers are aligned with sustainability objectives and carry out monthly reviews with site teams.
- Lead the development of energy initiatives within FM portfolio, including contract management plan and customer improvement plan.
- Engage in communication with Client site management ensuring excellent dialogue and relationship on project sites.
- Identify new or leading technologies, partnerships, and methodology ensuring Emrill is positioned as a leader in FM Energy conservation.
- Establish and maintain key client and sector relationships and networks to ensure client expectations are managed.
- Maintain Health and Safety policy and standards.
Education, Skills Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Energy Management preferred.
- Certified Energy Manager certification mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years engineering experience within Energy Management.
- ISO50001 Energy Management Systems would be an advantage.
- ASHRAE level Energy audit experience.
- Experienced in project design and delivery on similar size and value Energy projects.
- Managing multiple clients and projects at the same time.
- Aware of the trends in the marketplace and seeks to deepen knowledge of industry issues and drivers.
