Wealth and Personal Banking is our new global business combining Retail Banking and Wealth Management; and Global Private Banking, to become one of the world’s largest global wealth managers with trillion in assets. Our dedicated colleagues serve millions of customers worldwide across the entire spectrum of private wealth, ranging from personal banking for individuals and families, through to business owners, investors and ultra-high-net-worth individuals. We provide products and services such as bank accounts, credit cards, personal loans and mortgages, as well as asset management, insurance, wealth management and private banking, that best suit our customers’ needs.
We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Wealth and Personal Banking team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.
In this role, you will:
- Manage a team focused on achieving overall business Annual Operating Plan in terms of Sales & Revenue across all core products.
- Solicit quality New to Bank business & cross-sell relevant products.
- Provide inputs in product enhancement, performance, and product strategy to maximize profitable sales growth.
- Develop strategies to achieve targets by efficiently managing, developing, and supervising a team.
- Ensure the team meets group standards of customer service, compliance, and technical knowledge through ongoing training and accreditation.
- Build high standards of customer service, efficiency & productivity in line with strategic objectives.
- Support other cross-line businesses within Wealth Personal Banking such as Jade, Premier, Mortgage, and Auto.
- Collaborate with Corporate Account Managers to design and build sales strategies for Approved Employers List companies.
- Work on a portfolio to improve penetration across companies.
- Encourage teams to list new companies and drive momentum to achieve targets.
- Develop a training pathway and career progression plan for the team.
- Ensure robust activity management systems in line with Retail Incentive Framework guidelines.
- Maintain internal control standards, including timely implementation of audit points.
Requirements:
- A full understanding of Wealth and Personal Banking products and services with the ability to communicate effectively to customers.
- Proven experience selling to and working with high net worth individuals.
- Knowledge of developing a networking strategy and proven ability to achieve sales targets.
- Knowledge of competitor activity and propositions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Good team player.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective handover of customer relationships to appropriate personnel.
