Emergency Medicine Doctor - relocate to the UK

Are you an experienced Emergency Medicine Consultant seeking to advance your career in the UK’s NHS and currently working at a Consultant Doctor level in your country of residence?

Doctors Gateway is recruiting Emergency Medicine Consultants to relocate to the United Kingdom and join our two-year Specialist programme.

This unique, full-time programme is designed to support you in becoming a Specialist or Consultant within the NHS. You will receive structured guidance, high-quality training, and mentorship, ensuring your professional development and career progression.

About you

To be eligible for this position, you must:

• Hold a medical degree or equivalent medical qualification in emergency medicine
• Be a member of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine (MRCEM)
• Have a General Medical Council (GMC) registration and a licence to practise
• Have a minimum of four years of full-time postgraduate training (or equivalent part-time/flexible training), including a minimum of two years in a relevant specialty, such as emergency or acute medicine, or as a fixed-term specialty trainee in a related area
• Possess a valid English language proficiency certificate

About the position

Your primary responsibilities may include:

• Working in various settings: minor injuries units, major events, and trauma networks
• Treating diverse patients, including accident victims, the elderly, and those with substance abuse issues
• Using clinical skills to assess, prioritise, and treat patients, saving lives and supporting recovery
• Leading a team of Junior Doctors and managing inpatient clinics in Urgent Care/Emergency
