Job Description: Should have a Technical Trade Diploma Certificate in Electrical technology (or Trade Certificate of Secondary Technical School) plus at least 8 years of experience in maintenance or construction work, of which at least 3 years should be as an Electrical Technician in Onshore/Offshore Oilfield, Petro-chemical Process Industry or Heavy Industrial Projects. Cable glanding & termination, using Test Equipment such as Multimeter, Megger, Earth Tester, Hi-pot Test equipment, etc. Calibration & Setting of relays/timers is an added advantage.

Skills Required: Should have the capability to understand various kinds of Electrical drawings such as Single Line Diagrams, Schematics, Cable Schedule, Wiring diagrams, Layouts, etc., with minimum supervision. Should have capability to understand construction drawings, execute wiring and install electrical and electronic equipment, fixtures, and systems. Should be capable of using various Test Equipment like Meggar, AVO-Meter, Earth Tester, Hi-pot Test equipment, etc.
