Electrical Technician

Job Overview:
We are seeking skilled and reliable Electricians to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This includes diagnosing issues, performing routine inspections, and ensuring all systems are functioning optimally and safely. The roles require adherence to safety standards and local regulations, troubleshooting and resolving problems efficiently, and providing excellent customer service. Electricians will also respond to emergency service calls and contribute to preventive maintenance efforts to avoid future issues.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including water supply, drainage, electrical wiring, outlets, lighting, and circuit breakers.
2. Diagnose issues in electrical systems, troubleshoot faults, and provide effective solutions.
3. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure systems are functioning efficiently and safely.
4. Respond promptly to emergency service calls, addressing electrical malfunctions as needed.
5. Ensure all work complies with local safety standards, building codes, and regulations.
6. Collaborate with other maintenance staff and contractors on large projects or system installations.
7. Maintain accurate records of services performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
8. Communicate with clients, explaining services provided and offering advice on system maintenance and upgrades.
9. Inspect and test systems for compliance with safety standards, performing upgrades or repairs as necessary.
10. Keep work areas clean and organized, maintaining tools and equipment in good condition.
11. Provide timely feedback to supervisors on job progress and any issues that may arise.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as an Electrician in a maintenance or service environment.
2. A valid certificate in plumbing or electrical work from your home country (equivalent certification may be required).
3. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
4. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
