Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Technician to join our team. The Electrical Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation and Setup:
   Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, electrical panels, and circuit breakers.
   Set up electrical components for machinery, equipment, and devices based on specifications and blueprints.
   Ensure proper grounding and electrical safety measures are in place during installations.
2. Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
   Inspect electrical systems and components to identify faults, malfunctions, or wear.
   Diagnose electrical problems, including power failures, short circuits, and system inefficiencies.
   Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning electrical equipment, testing circuits, and replacing faulty parts.
   Use diagnostic tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.) to detect and resolve electrical issues.
3. Repairs and Upgrades:
   Repair or replace damaged electrical components, such as wiring, outlets, switches, and circuit boards.
   Upgrade outdated electrical systems to meet current standards and improve safety and efficiency.
   Ensure repairs are completed in compliance with local electrical codes and regulations.
4. System Testing and Inspection:
   Perform system testing to ensure proper electrical operation and compliance with safety standards.
   Conduct inspections on newly installed systems to verify safety and functionality before use.
   Ensure that all electrical work adheres to local, state, and federal codes and regulations.
5. Safety and Compliance:
   Follow strict safety protocols and guidelines to prevent electrical hazards, including shock, fire, and equipment damage.
   Maintain a safe and organized work environment, ensuring the proper use and storage of electrical tools and materials.
   Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations in all electrical work.
6. Customer Service and Documentation:
   Communicate effectively with clients and other team members to understand electrical needs and deliver solutions.
   Provide clear explanations of electrical systems, issues, and repairs to clients.
   Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
   Assist in preparing reports and updating maintenance logs.
7. Collaboration:
   Work closely with other technicians, engineers, and contractors on larger projects.
   Assist in training junior technicians and apprentices in electrical systems and safety practices.

Required Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Completion of an electrical apprenticeship or vocational training program.
3. Proven experience (typically 2-5 years) as an Electrical Technician, Electrician, or similar role.
4. Valid electrical certification or license (if required by local regulations).
5. Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and components.
6. Proficient in the use of electrical tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic devices.
7. Familiarity with electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
