Electrical Site Engineer - Waste Water Treatment Units

• Ability to understand process and flow diagrams for water/wastewater treatment plants.
• Ability to perform and document the electromechanical and automatic control system tests, other related inspections, and commissioning activities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize projects in accordance with deadline requirements.
• Ensure process/performance of the machine is achieved as per the design.
• Prepare and maintain the commissioning programme and execute activities in accordance with the programme.
• Good connection with clients/operation team for follow-up.
• Advise the Service team for maintenance and support for new sales and O&M contracts.
• Prepare/review risk assessments and method statements as required.
• Ability to take action in solving problems while exhibiting judgment and a realistic understanding of issues.
• Maintain the snagging list and progress the completion of all snags assigned.
• Prepare or review P&ID drawings and perform HAZOP study to validate the same for design and build projects.
• Prepare process description and control philosophy for design and build projects.
• Provide training for the operator.
• Produce project deliverables including Equipment Lists, Instrument Lists, Line Lists, Valve Lists, and I/O Schedules to specify technical requirements.
• Produce Plant Operating Procedures and O&M manuals and documentation.
• Prepare and follow up documentation as per company ISO Standards.

• Quickly assess new situations and prioritize critical tasks.
• Very good oral and written English skills are absolutely required; additional language skills are an advantage, especially in Arabic and German.
• Having working experience in UAE and other GCC/North African regions.
• UAE Driving license is mandatory.

Qualification:

• 5 years experience in commissioning and/or operation of Water/Waste Water Plants.
• Good knowledge of electromechanical equipment in the field of water and wastewater treatment.
