Job Summary:

The Project Engineer ensures the successful execution of projects, manages technical aspects, designs, plans, and executes electro-mechanical systems for industrial, commercial, and power systems projects. The role involves coordinating with our customers, suppliers, engineers, and designers while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Understand customer needs and offer solutions to meet customer requirements.
• Support the team and provide solutions to customer technical issues.
• Visit customer site to gather technical information required to make proper customer proposal.
• Design and review electro-mechanical systems, schematics, and layouts.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement solutions.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and specifications.
• Prepare final technical submittals/documentations to obtain project handover.

• Promote and conduct business professionally in order to protect the integrity of Caterpillar brand and Al-Bahar image.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in projects execution.
• Experience & Knowledge in:

• Electrical system design and analysis.

• Power distribution and load calculations.

• Power systems package design based on diesel & gas engines.

• Project management and scheduling (Primavera, MS Project).

• Compliance with NEC, IEC, and other electrical codes.

• Strong knowledge in machinery package design involving multiple disciplines.
