Electrical Engineer - Testing & Commissioning

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer with expertise in testing and commissioning of electrical systems, particularly in the UAE market. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in conducting live tests, including:

1. Lightening and power loop impedance tests
2. Insulation tests
3. Earth leakage tests

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct site visits to inspect and test electrical installations
2. Identify and report on defects or non-compliances
3. Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical systems, including LV, MV, and HV networks
4. Troubleshoot and fault-find electrical issues
5. Collaborate with contractors and clients to resolve technical issues
6. Maintain accurate records of testing and commissioning activities

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical testing and commissioning, preferably in the UAE market
3. Strong knowledge of UAE electrical codes and regulations (e.g. NES, GEC, AS/NZS)
4. Experience with live testing of electrical systems, including lightening and power loop impedance tests, insulation tests, and earth leakage tests
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
