Electrical Engineer Solar – Must be DEWA Approved in UAE: 5 years (Required)

The Solar Electrical Engineer is responsible for providing innovative and comprehensive solutions in design engineering for commercial and utility-scale solar photovoltaic projects. Solar engineers work in a collaborative, team-based environment, working closely with Sales and Engineering to offer the best solution for each project.

DEWA Approved license is required for renewable energy (Solar energy) and municipality registration.

Responsibilities include:

1. Perform on-site energy efficiency audits focused on mechanical systems, control systems, and lighting energy efficiency opportunities.
2. Analyze potential opportunities, create proposals, and present findings to customers.
3. Conduct historical utility billing analysis and facility benchmarking analysis.
4. Recommend and analyze Energy Efficiency Measures (EEMs).
5. Develop and implement Site Measurement Plans and deploy equipment to document parameters such as operating times, flows, energy consumption, temperatures, etc.
6. Develop Site Survey Plans and Audit Checklists.
7. Coordinate with suppliers, consultants, and contractors to ensure original design intent is adhered to throughout implementation.
8. Design EEMs and review drawings, specifications, bill of quantities, and sequences of operation.
9. Perform concept and schematic design, calculations, and drawing production.
10. Research emerging technologies and standards for implementation into company practice and project implementation.
11. Conduct site visits to verify installation and operation of technologies.
12. Coordinate and inspect on-site work and installations performed by suppliers, consultants, and contractors.
13. Work with project site staff, owners' staff, and maintenance teams to ensure accurate operation within design parameters.
14. Analyze consumption before, during, and after implementation phases using energy modeling software.

Minimum Requirements:

Electrical Engineer Solar – Must be DEWA Approved in UAE: 5 years (Required), Dubai Municipality Approved Certificate, UAE driving license (Required), Bachelor’s degree (Preferred).
