Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment at the project site.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for electrical systems and equipment.
Review and approve electrical design documents, specifications, and drawings.
Collaborate with the project team, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulations in all electrical activities.
Monitor and report on the progress of electrical work, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Conduct inspections and audits to ensure quality standards are maintained.
Act as the technical point of contact for electrical issues on-site.
Support the preparation of progress reports, technical documentation, and as-built drawings.
Job Description
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
Experience (not less than 10 years) on electrical systems (design, installation & commissioning) such as MV/LV power transformers, LV/MV switchgears, LV/control/HV cables, protection, control systems, UPS, etc.
Proven experience in a PMC role, managing electrical aspects of projects.
Ability to communicate in English (writing & speaking) to enable follow-up and liaison with contractors, clients, and other stakeholders of the project and to manage email correspondence and update reports.
Mandatory experience (at least 5 years) in working for design, installation, and commissioning of MV VFD/VSD (preferably with ADNOC OPCOs or similar works sites).
