The role involves designing airworthy systems, ensuring compliance with airworthiness standards, collaborating on system development, and participating in flight test campaigns.

Responsibilities:

• Conception and design of airworthy systems up to certification readiness
• Formulation and review of system, subsystem and equipment requirements in accordance with current airworthiness standards
• Development and validation of tests and preparation of test setups for the low-voltage distribution system
• Close collaboration with other teams in system development with regard to design, interfaces and control
• Identifying potential suppliers, contacting them and assessing their capabilities
• Participation in flight test campaigns for comprehensive product validation
• Continuous review and optimisation of technical concepts, tools and methods

Skills:

• Degree in electrical engineering or related field
• Several years of aerospace industry experience
• Knowledge of EASA/FAA regulations and industry standards
• Experience with requirements management tools and aerospace development
• Understanding of aircraft electrical distribution systems
• Experience in safety-critical development processes
