Job Description: - HV Electrical Engineer

Job Purpose:

Acts as a lead or support role to design, review & support in the execution of an ongoing project with Co. to implement the necessary grid reinforcement and CO. High Voltage reconfiguration in order to achieve a maximum import of 2GW in Co..

An HV Electrical Engineer is required to review and comment on technical documents (such as SLDs, Datasheets, Schematics, etc.) related to the project to ensure the design is aligned with CO.s standard specifications and provide site support during execution if necessary.

Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum Qualifications: First Degree in the appropriate discipline (Electrical or Electrical & Electronics) from a recognized university.

Minimum Experience: 7 to 10 years of experience in a heavy industrial & power generation / distribution environment. Expert in HV Electrical Distribution System.

Skills:

• The job requires professional engineering design and development skills to be exercised in depth to achieve expected results.
• Other skill requirement includes team participation, communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to solve problems and think creatively.
