Job Summary:
The Electrical Draftsman for Luxury Villas is responsible for creating detailed electrical design plans, schematics, and layouts for high-end residential projects. This role involves working closely with electrical engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure accurate and effective electrical system designs that align with the specific needs and luxury standards of villa projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical Drafting & Design:
  Create detailed electrical drawings for luxury villas, including power distribution, lighting systems, and home automation integration. Develop electrical schematics, circuit diagrams, and wiring layouts using AutoCAD, Revit, or other industry-standard software. Ensure electrical designs are in compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Collaboration with Engineers and Architects:
  Work closely with electrical engineers to incorporate technical specifications and project requirements into electrical designs. Coordinate with architects, interior designers, and other stakeholders to ensure electrical layouts align with the overall design vision and functionality of the villa. Assist in resolving design conflicts and optimizing electrical system layouts to maximize space and efficiency.
• System Integration:
  Support the integration of home automation and smart home systems into the electrical design, ensuring compatibility and functionality. Develop detailed wiring and connection diagrams for advanced electrical systems, including lighting control, HVAC, security, and audio-visual systems.
• Preparation of Technical Documentation:
  Prepare detailed technical documentation, including material specifications, bill of quantities (BOQ), and installation instructions. Create schedules for electrical equipment and ensure proper coordination with the construction timeline. Assist in creating as-built drawings and final documentation upon project completion.
• Quality Control & Compliance:
  Review electrical drawings for accuracy and ensure all designs meet the highest standards of quality. Verify that designs comply with national and local electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards. Perform regular checks to ensure that all materials and designs are aligned with the project's scope and budget.
• Site Support & Coordination:
  Conduct site visits to understand the project scope, assess site conditions, and gather information for electrical design. Assist project managers and construction teams with any electrical design modifications or issues during the construction phase. Collaborate with the project team to make adjustments based on site challenges or changes in project scope. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in electrical design, including smart home technology, sustainable energy solutions, and energy-efficient systems.

Incorporate innovative design solutions to meet the evolving needs of luxury villas and client specifications.

• Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools and workflows.
