About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our MEP team in Dubai. This role involves designing, analyzing, and coordinating electrical systems for construction and renovation projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in power distribution, lighting, ELV systems, and compliance with local and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop electrical system designs, including Single Line Diagrams (SLD), load schedules, and ELV systems
• Perform short circuit calculations, voltage drop analysis, and cable sizing
• Ensure compliance with DEWA, ADDC, ADM, Civil Defense, and other regulatory bodies
• Coordinate with MEP, structural, and architectural teams for seamless integration
• Prepare technical reports, BOQs, and material specifications
• Conduct risk assessments and feasibility studies to optimize design solutions
• Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, ETAP, and other electrical design software

Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Experience: 5-10 years in electrical design, preferably in MEP or hotel construction
• Software Proficiency: AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Dialux, ETAP
• Standards & Compliance: IEC, NEC, BS, DEWA, ADDC, ADM, ESTIDAMA
• Technical Expertise: Load calculations, ELV system design, lighting control, power distribution
• Preferred Certifications: ADDC and DEWA approval
