Electrical Design Engineer

Apply only if you have experience in basic and detailed design and project coordination of Electrical works on EPC execution. Good knowledge of Electrical Systems and Physical design, as well as the principles and practices of related technical areas, is required. Candidates should have exposure to UAE/ADNOC local practices.

Responsibilities

1. Equipment Sizing Calculations (DG sizing, Transformer sizing, UPS sizing, Solar power system sizing, HV/LV Power cable sizing, etc.), Lighting calculations, cable/tray/MCT calculations, Battery sizing, Cathodic protection calculation.
2. Preparation of overall Key SLD, MV & LV SLD, DC SLD, Cable Trench & tray Layout, Earthing, Lighting layout, Hazardous Area Classification Layout, Equipment layout.
3. Preparation of Load List, Cable Schedules, and Plant Equipment BOMs.
4. Review of shop/vendor drawings for various electrical and mechanical equipment/packages and Inter Discipline Drawings Review.
5. Procurement assistance like preparation of Material Requisition (MR/RFQ) & Technical Bid evaluation of vendor offers (TBE).
6. Preparation of CCTV, PAGA, Telephone, and Radio Block diagrams, preparation of Telecom equipment layout, telecom cable schedule, JB schedule, Termination drawings, etc.
7. Preparation and Review of Specifications and data sheets for Electrical Equipment.

Candidate Requirements

1. B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering discipline.
2. Experience in Electrical design and Engineering.
3. Proficient in Electrical design software like AMTECH, ETAB, DIALUX, Earth Grid study, etc.
4. Well versed in reviewing and checking of drawings and calculations.
5. Good knowledge of relevant international codes and regulations.
