Working closely with Project Managers and Sr. Project Engineers to provide engineering support for their projects. This involves meetings and coordination with different project teams and clients/end-users.
Involved in technical meetings to understand the requirements specification and prepare datasheets and drawings using 2D CAD software.
Produce designs and drawings for electrical systems, including interconnection diagrams, cable schedules, single line diagrams, general arrangement drawings, and grounding/earthing lighting/services designs.
Review and prepare cable tray designs, calculate cable sizing, and coordinate with consultants for accurate datasheets and sizing.
Review and support in the preparation of BOQ and material takeoffs.
Ensure all drawings and deliverables are checked, and IFC drawings are issued to project teams for execution and compliance with project and company quality standards.
Update As-Built drawings as per the clients' redline markups (RML) and submit to clients through EDMS solutions.
Ensure and execute that designs follow the electrical design criteria for the project as well as defined design standards, codes, and regulations.
Ensure coordination of all electrical interfaces with engineers of other disciplines, consultants, clients, PMC personnel, and internal EEIC Project Managers, Sr. Project Engineers, and other Site Project Engineers.
Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor Degree in Engineering / 03 Years Diploma (Electrical Instrumentation) with a minimum of 08 years in the Oil & Gas industry. Familiarity with Engineering Procurement and Contracting aspects in the business, both onshore and offshore.
