Electric Vehicle Technician

Rectify and repair electric vehicles, ensuring compliance with company standards while operating in a safe work environment.

Job Accountabilities:

1. Receive work and job card from the workshop supervisor.
2. Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repairs within the timeline.
3. Upon receiving the job card, perform each requirement and tick and sign the checklist upon completion of work.
4. If any parts are required for purchase, inform the workshop supervisor.
5. Search for information in the available documentation (technical manuals, repair booklets).
6. Identify additional work and non-conformances, rapidly communicate them to the supervisor, and write them down on the job card.
7. Ensure the presentation of the vehicle, including resetting of equipment and accessories, and cleanliness.
8. Apply the manufacturer's directives and safety rules.
9. Tidy up and clean the work area and all tools used (individual or collective).
10. Maintain the stock of tools and keep them in proper condition.
11. Perform all activities in compliance with the Company’s QHSEMS and as per the assigned specific responsibilities.
12. Carry out any additional tasks assigned (in line with qualifications and ability) by the line manager.

Qualifications & Education

Experience:

A minimum of 2 years’ experience as an auto-electrician in the service of electric vehicles.

Knowledge & Skills:

Working knowledge of English.

Understanding of the uses of modern diagnostic equipment.
